Glossary

What is Topical authority?

How thoroughly and credibly a site covers a subject, as judged by search engines across many related pages.

A site that covers a topic in depth, with pages for subtopics linked together, tends to rank better for the whole topic than a site with one page.

It's built through content clusters: a broad pillar page linked to many specific pages.

Why it matters when you launch

A product blog that covers your users' core problem in depth builds authority that a single landing page can't.
