About Apperture
Apperture is a mobile app that simulates film photography so you can preview how a shot will come out before committing to actual film. Choose from 30+ film-stock emulations (Kodak, Fuji, Ilford, CineStill, Lomography, and more), pick from settings pulled from 4,000+ real cameras, and adjust manual aperture/shutter controls or use automatic modes. Features include real motion blur, range and light metering, reciprocity-failure approximation, grain simulation, and a log to track prototypes and compare them to developed results. Simulations are rough approximations trained on public data and theory; advanced features are planned for future releases.
