About MTVP
MTVP is a minimal, MIDI-controlled video player for iOS and Android that displays timecode for composing and scoring social media videos. It responds to System Transport messages (play/stop/continue), supports custom MIDI CC mapping, auto-detects BPM from MIDI clock, and uses a hybrid clock sync that corrects timecode to MIDI every beat. Loads video files locally (offline, no tracking, no account), supports cable/Bluetooth/Mac hub MIDI connections, and runs on Apple Silicon Macs.
