About Stashbase
Stashbase securely manages secrets, environment variables, and access for developers and AI agents. Keep credentials out of code, chats, and tickets by proxying secret exchanges (agents receive short‑lived placeholders). Define git-backed profiles/policies in TOML to restrict egress hosts and per-secret rules (hosts, methods, paths). Features include a REST API, local CLI agent (stashbase agent run), personal-credential isolation, local value overrides, and metadata-only audit logs for allowed/denied exchanges.
