About Tessera
Tessera is a local “control room” for AI-assisted coding that runs parallel agent sessions (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode) while keeping context isolated per project via Git worktrees. It organizes work into projects, collections, tabs and panes, adds a Kanban view, provides Git integration, and supports mobile access. Installable via releases or run with npm/Node.js, Tessera is open-source (AGPL-3.0) and designed to reduce context loss when running multiple AI coding sessions.
Key Features
- Parallel AI agent sessions (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode)
- Isolated Git worktrees per session/project to avoid context bleed
- Organization by projects, collections, tabs and panes
- Built-in Kanban and Git integration for workflow management
- Local-first/browser runtime with downloadable releases and npm package
Who is this for?
Developers and engineering teams using AI coding agents (LLM-assisted development), prompt engineers, and power users who need organized, isolated coding sessions across projects.
